Wildlife Dinner 2024

Following the success of last years dinner we one again gathered for a very enjoyable evening including a superb meal on Saturday 23rd November.

A presentation about the making of the film 'four seasons in Shillingford Wood' gave an interesting insight into the film making process and some of the wildlife discoveries recorded. The film will be completed by the end of this year.

Details of the "Grand Premiere" to be announced later.

The colour of birds
After the long dull winter we could all do with some colour

Mr Nick de Cent is a local wildlife photographer who is widely travelled in pursuit of his photography. He has a wonderful collection of bird images from around the world. However, to avoid his presentation simply being a list of colourful images Nick will discuss how birds see and use colour including display, camoflage, signalling and pigmentation. This is sure to be an interesting and entertaining evening.

Monday 14th April 2025 7.30pm in Shillingford St George Village Hall.
