Mid-summer Picnic
This year will be the 3rd Mid-summer picnic in the wood (new plantation).
Do come and join us as we enjoy a relaxing evening as the sun goes down on mid-summers day.

moth hunt 2026
We are just waiting for the date to be finalised.
This year the moth hunt will take place at the Exeter Growers field, Sillingford St George.
Further details will be posted here once confirmed.

Volunteering - Our work parties for the 2025 - 2026 Autumn/winter seasons have now ended.
They will recommence late September or early October 2026. Details will appear here.

Tree guard removal
We have finally removed the last of the tree guards (although the odd few do remain deep in the undergrowth which we will remove as they surface).

Garden Party
On a warm summers afteroon on the 17th August we held our summer garden party in the delightful garden of Di and Eric. Pims, cream teas and ice creams were enjoyed.
Moth Hunt
This year a moth hunt will be held at the Exeter Growers field, date to be confirmed. At the event in 2025 total of 63 different moth species were identified.
